OST 8 was another Music Pack where I was able to fully leverage both my rapid prototyping capabilities and visual development skills.
I led the entire environment production process — from early VR prototype, through full asset production and optimization, to final release across our target platforms, including Meta Quest headsets. The project required careful balancing of visual ambition with standalone VR performance constraints.
For this environment, I implemented a procedural workflow using SideFX Houdini to generate assets and textures, allowing for scalable iteration and greater visual consistency while maintaining production efficiency.
Throughout development, I remained in close collaboration with level designers, defining and refining control systems for environmental elements and laser setups. I also contributed to implementing components that enabled dynamic scaling of environment elements, expanding the expressive potential of the experience and allowing the team to fully explore its visual range.
I was also featured in the official Beat Saber developer vlog, presenting the environment and discussing its development process.
