Avengers: Age of Ultron was my first project at Method Studios and my first opportunity to contribute to a Marvel feature film.
I worked on integration effects for the sequence in which Quicksilver is shot and falls. My responsibilities included developing physically grounded particle systems, impact-driven debris, and subtle atmospheric elements to enhance realism and support the dramatic intensity of the moment.
The work required careful attention to scale, timing, and interaction with live-action plates. I ensured that all effects integrated seamlessly within the compositing pipeline, maintaining visual continuity and adhering to the high-quality standards expected in a large-scale Marvel production.
Even though the effects were relatively contained in scope, the level of precision, review iteration, and production discipline was critical.
