On Captain Marvel, I was responsible for designing and developing the anti-gravity weapon effect used during the fight sequence between Captain Marvel and Kree soldiers.

The work focused primarily on look development and defining the visual language of the effect, as no predefined concept art existed for this sequence. This meant the creative direction of the weapon’s behavior, energy patterns, and visual impact was largely driven by my exploration and iteration.

Beyond establishing the initial look, I was also responsible for refining and implementing the effect across multiple scenes, ensuring visual consistency, scalability, and seamless integration within the broader action choreography.

This project required balancing creative experimentation with production constraints while delivering a distinctive, readable, and narratively aligned effect.
