On Skyscraper, I was responsible for developing large-scale, realistic fire simulations and populating the effect across both the exterior of the skyscraper and vast interior environments.

The project was particularly complex due to the need for long-sequence continuity. The fire behavior had to remain consistent and believable across extended shots, requiring careful simulation planning and controlled evolution of the effect over time.

This work demanded close coordination within the FX department as well as tight collaboration with lighting artists and compositors. Ensuring that all rendered passes were properly structured, lit, and aligned with the live-action footage was critical for achieving seamless integration and maintaining visual coherence throughout the sequence.

The scale and duration of the fire simulations required a balance between physical realism, artistic control, and production efficiency.
